Birni, Giridih: Hundreds of farmers enthusiastically participated in the Harit Sansar Natural Farming Training Programme organised at Birni Block, Giridih District. The event focused on promoting natural farming, environmental conservation, and sustainable agricultural practices for a greener future.
The programme was graced by Mr Rajeev Singh, Founder of Sansar Green and the driving force behind the Harit Sansar Movement, who attended as the Chief Guest. Addressing the gathering, he inspired farmers to adopt natural farming methods that improve soil fertility, reduce dependence on chemical fertilisers, lower cultivation costs, and produce healthy food for society.
During his motivational address, Mr Rajeev Singh emphasised that “A farmer is not just a food producer but also the protector of nature.” He encouraged every farmer to become a Green Ambassador by embracing natural farming, planting trees, conserving water, and protecting the environment for future generations.

As part of the Harit Sansar Plantation Drive, 700 mango saplings were distributed free of cost among participating farmers. The plantation initiative aims to increase green cover, improve farmers’ long-term income through fruit cultivation, and encourage every family to plant and nurture trees.
The training also covered practical aspects of natural farming, including soil health management, the use of bio-inputs, composting, microbial solutions, water conservation, and sustainable crop management techniques. Farmers actively interacted with experts, asked questions, and shared their experiences, making the programme highly engaging and informative.
The event concluded with a collective pledge by the farmers to adopt eco-friendly agricultural practices, plant more trees, and work together to make Birni and Giridih models of sustainable farming.
The Harit Sansar Movement, led by Rajeev Singh and Sansar Green, continues to inspire communities across the region by promoting natural farming, environmental awareness, and large-scale plantation campaigns, with the vision of creating a greener, healthier, and more prosperous India.
“Natural Farming is the future of agriculture, and every tree we plant today is an investment in the well-being of future generations.”
— Rajeev Singh, Founder, Sansar Green | Leader, Harit Sansar Movement
